Electronic Prescriptions
Your doctor may ask you if you want to nominate a pharmacy. This just means you're letting the NHS know your preferred pharmacy.
Having a nominated pharmacy allows your GP to send you prescriptions directly to that store, so your medicines are ready and waiting for you to collect them. In some cases, having a nominated pharmacy allows the pharmacy to request repeat prescriptions from the GP on your behalf.
